u The cysto-urethroscope adapter for women is slid onto the cystoscope sheath and positioned gently against the urethral opening. This prevents the irrigation fluid from flowing out of the bladder and the urethra from collapsing. By means of this adapter, urethroscopy of the full length of the female urethra becomes possible.
